Barre fitness is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre but we don't! We use some equipment and body weight and it works. Barre uses classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements. The exercises are set at a slow pace that aims to build strength and flexibility — you won’t have to worry about high impact moves, like jumping.
