Understanding the Basics

Yoga is more than just physical postures; it also involves breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation, mindfulness, and relaxation. Start by familiarizing yourself with common yoga terms like asanas (poses), savasana (corpse pose), namaste (a greeting), and prana (life force energy).

Practicing Mindfulness

One of the core principles of yoga is mindfulness – being present in the moment without judgment or attachment. As a beginner yogi, we focus on getting you to connect with your breath during each pose, listening to your body's cues, and letting really immersing your mind and body together.

Finding Your Style

There are many styles of yoga, each offering unique benefits and experiences. As a beginner, we introduce you through different styles of yoga to help you find which style you enjoy the most while we slower-paced and focus on alignment and breath work to get you prepped up for the higher intensity ones!
